Ensuring the care wellbeing and protection of children and young people in Catholic schools is inherent to the Catholic tradition which celebrates the sanctity and unique dignity of each human being.
A Child Safety Code of Conduct establishes for all staff and others working with children, clear behavioural expectations and boundaries in the school’s environment and enables all to be held accountable. Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School promotes and nurtures a safe learning environment under the patronage of Mother Teresa who reached out and cared for all.
Our Child Safe Policy demonstrates our strong commitment to the care, safety and wellbeing of all children within our learning community. It provides an outline of the policies and procedures and strategies developed to keep students safe from harm, including all forms of abuse in our school environment, at school, online and in other locations provided by the school.
